The following advertisement seeks people living in the UK who have "unique habits", who may be suitable for a new BBC3 TV show. I have no connection with it, but am displaying their ad because I believe it to be a worthwhile project (I'd go on the show myself if I didn't live so far away).
- Graham Barker, January 2010.

P.S. If you're not suitable, maybe you know someone in the UK who is?

DO YOU HAVE A HABIT OR ROUTINE THAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT FROM THE REST?

HAS ANYONE EVER COMMENTED ON YOUR UNIQUE WAYS?

IF SO….. THEN WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Remarkable Television (an Endemol company) are making a new show for BBC3 that will celebrate the habits, rituals and routines that we all have - everything from unique grooming techniques.... to how many times you change your underwear....

to the way you eat your favourite meal!

  • Have you got an extreme habit that you won’t stop doing?
  • Do you collect your belly button lint?
  • Do you secretly chew your toe nails, or do something unusual with your ear wax?!
  • Do you wear a new pair of pants every day? Iron your socks? Have specific underwear for days of the week?
  • Have you got a meticulous showering routine that’s always done in the same order?
  • Do you have a toilet habit - perhaps you keep a record of your poo?!
  • Do you have a habit that you do when you meet someone for the first time?

Our show is a big celebration of all these habits and more – everyone has them,

so let’s be proud!

So if you go the extra mile to make your life exactly the way you want it – if you’re passionate about your obsession – or if you think it makes you who you are - we want to hear from you!
